The product spec for the product is:  Convector heater. Long life blue flame burner. Integral spark ignition. Exclusive double safety system – flame supervision device and atmosphere analyser. Castors for easy movement. Requires up to 15kg gas cylinder (not included). Heat output 4.2kW. 3 heat settings. Size H79, W43, D48cm.

The reviews for the product from Argos was very good.  Reviewers on Argos’ site scored the product 4 out of 5.

Positives

Recommended for areas like the Conservatory in winter time

Nearly everyone agrees it gives out great heat

Front guard prevents things catching fire

Product heats room in 10 minutes

Little smell compared to other models

Has been noted to keep a 30 meter square conservatory heated well,  this is after only a twenty minute warm up as well. 

Minimum setting also been noted to keep a room comfortably heated

Nice modern, lightweight design

Negatives

 Back of the heater has been noted to fall off when being moved – mobility is therefore questioned

Some people have reported it’s difficult to put the back of the heater back on after changing the gas bottle

Some people have complained of the product using excessive amounts of gas compared to similar products, although others have claimed otherwise

Some problems noted with electrical ignition – some people have had to use matches to light it

Fire with gas bottle is heavy

Castors on the bottom of the fire make it unsuitable according to some for carpets, but okay for hard floors

Not suitable for a large area
